As a caring company, we take our responsibility for the health and well-being of everyone who comes on board our vessels, enters our ports or terminals, and visits our offices very seriously.
Good health and well-being
Sustainability
Our sustainability ambitions include looking after people as well as the planet and our business. As part of this, we are committed to nurturing a culture of care and respect for by supporting our colleagues’ physical and mental well-being. To help us achieve this, we use the “Five ways of well-being” framework.
The five ways are: connect with people, move our bodies, notice the present, learn something new and give to others. Together, they help us boost our well-being, and therefore our mental health.
Incorporating these five activities daily helps us make the best of ourselves because they relate to fundamental needs that must be satisfied to grow positive relationships, independence and security. There’s no single approach to combine the five ways. Everyone will want to balance them in ways that make sense to them. The goal is to raise awareness and to engage people in conversations about health and well-being, and to encourage small (and big!) changes.
