Our ferries are like floating hotels, and hospitality is at our core. We put our customers in the centre of what we do. If you have an eye for the big little things that make the customer experience go from good to great, you will fit right in. We are always on the lookout for Onboard Service Assistants, Stewards and Chefs to join our vessels.

Working within deck and engine you are responsible for a smooth operation of our vessels. You will literally be working with keeping the vessel and its passengers afloat and ensure a safe voyage across the seas.

Depending on the vessel, route and region, different legislation and qualifications may apply, such as certifications, training, experience and language skills. The specific requirements for each position will always be stated in the job ad. If you are a qualified maritime professional, we would love to hear from you.

We are not only a ferry company, we actually own six ports across Europe and operate in 21 ports in total. Our people working within ports and terminals play a vital role in securing a smooth operation for our customers entering and exiting the vessels.

AI AI Captain! We are on an exciting journey, driven by technology and new digital habits, to create a seamless customer experience. Our digital teams are working with everything from AI software which streamlines our vessels’ crossings and fuel consumption to creating digital tools used by our customers. We are always (and we mean ALWAYS) looking for developers to join, so don’t hesitate!

B2B or B2C? We have both! Our employees are working across our business in different roles to make it easy for our customers to do business with us, no matter if they are buying tickets to travel onboard our vessels or booking freight units.

Whether you want to be part of creating a smooth online customer experience, marketing strategies and campaigns that make a big splash or just somehow add value to our customers, we have plenty of opportunities. Both regionally as well at a group level. We are taking big steps within e-commerce and travel tech, join us if you want to create big waves.

If black numbers, excel spreadsheets or negotiating a great price floats your boat, look no further. At Stena Line we have many career opportunities to work hands-on with our business. Are you our next controller, accountant or financial assistant? Or maybe you would prefer a career within procurement or business development.

Our freight route network is an important part of the European infrastructure. With our great experience within shipping, logistics and intermodal solutions you will get to work with trade and transport linking it all together by sea, road and train. In this area we have a variety of positions working with sales, marketing, customer service and freight planning.

With a great focus on safety and security, our fleet operation together with crewing ensures a safe and reliable operation of our vessels on all their crossings. Within these areas you can work with everything from safety procedures, fleet operations management and new build projects to crew planning and management.

We believe our people are our most important asset! Our People organisation, together with Brand and Communication, plays a vital role in ensuring that employees have what they need to thrive throughout their employee journey. Happy employees result in happy customers. Our regional people teams support our managers where it actually happens, working close to the business, and our group people and communication department creates solid processes and communication to support that mission.

Our sustainability department might be small – but it does great things. We believe that sustainability is the future and in this function we have positions like sustainability controller, environmental manager and external funding and project manager which are supporting our business to reach our vision – Connecting Europe for a Sustainable future.
