Contract Type: Permanent (28 hours per week).
Shift Pattern: 4 days on 4 days off/split shifts.
Annual Salary: £24,886.21 (pro rata)

We’re looking for a Catering Assistant to join our welcoming and customer-focused team at the Barista Coffee Shop in Belfast Port.
In this role, you’ll be serving up more than just great coffee—you’ll be creating a warm and positive experience for every customer who walks through our terminal doors. From preparing high-quality drinks to keeping the space clean and inviting, you’ll play a key part in making our café a place people love to visit.
You’ll report to the Onboard Services & Sales Commercial Manager and work closely with a supportive team that values enthusiasm, reliability, and a can-do attitude.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality speciality coffee drinks, including espresso-based drinks, pour overs and tea.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment and surrounding areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders and answering questions.
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up to date on the latest coffee trends and techniques.
