Salary: 60,000 – 70,000 GBP/72,000 – 85,000 Euro (DOE)

At Stena Line, communication is at the heart of everything we do. As a key member of our Brand & Communication department, you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering our messaging, both internally and externally.
You will be responsible for communicating the strategic development of the company, facilitating change, and ensuring strong engagement across all levels of the organisation. Through authentic, inspiring and confident communication, you will proactively promote Stena Line as a trusted link between people, places and societies. Some of your key responsibilities:
- Serve as the regional media spokesperson for the North Sea and the Irish Sea regions.
- Develop and execute PR and media strategies with a 360º approach. Analyse and report on outcome.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including media, academia, politicians and industry representatives.
- Enhance Stena Line’s external visibility across major media channels and within society.
- Proactively monitor and identify news and developments, both internal and external, that could impact Stena Line positively or negatively.
- Play an integral role in Stena Line’s crisis communication team, following emergency procedures and act as a media spokesperson during crisis situations.
- Support with internal communication linked to regional initiatives
- Collaborate as an active member of the Brand & Communication team, taking ownership of key assignments and supporting colleagues in a welcoming, caring and reliable manner.
What you will experience

You’ll work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, managing media relations, crafting impactful stories, and acting as a trusted spokesperson for the company. Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent experience in communications or journalism.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in PR and media, either in an agency, in-house, or a similar setting.
- Proven experience in crisis communication.
