Some of your key responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the team following Stena Line best practices.
- Conduct yearly People Processes, including reviews, talent identification, employee surveys, and managing absenteeism and performance.
- Drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily port operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to vessel schedules.
- Manage emergency responses and ensure staff training in emergency procedures.
- Foster a psychologically safe work environment.
- Model Stena Line behaviours (welcoming, caring, reliable), leadership, and digital curiosity.
- Maintain customer service standards and enhance the overall Port Experience.
- Ensure compliance with the Safety Management System for Port Service Operatives/Stevedores.
- Assist in developing operational procedures.
- Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and inspections.
- Ensure ISPS code and local security compliance.
- Manage resources for safe and efficient port operations in line with Stena Line values.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement necessary training through Seably.
- Build relationships with local authorities, including police and border forces.

Qualifications:
- Proven supervisory experience in a maritime, transport or logistics role
- Role modeling leadership, Communications and digitalisation.
- Knowledge of safety and employee relations regulations
- Ability to liaise effectively with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders
- Full UK Driving License
