Are you the strategic partner who can challenge, support, and elevate our regional results?
In this role, you connect revenue management and business controlling to create sustainable profitability across our route network. Through data‑driven pricing, intelligent capacity optimisation, and the development of forward‑looking regional business plans, you help translate strategic ambitions into measurable results. In close collaboration with the Regional Trade Management organization, you play a key role in driving responsible growth, cost efficiency, and smarter decision‑making, supported by digital tools and advanced analytics. Join our team to shape a resilient, future‑focused business through innovation and performance
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Drive sustainable profitability: You integrate revenue management and business controlling to strengthen regional performance and optimise revenue streams on an ongoing basis;
- Grow Travel & Freight volumes: You assess market trends, customer behaviour, and pricing dynamics to increase utilisation and revenue, supported by advanced AI solutions (Nemo);
- Lead strategic capacity decisions: You manage cargo composition and customer lifetime value (CLV) per sailing to maximise overall net yield;
- Execute daily trade optimisation: You track performance closely, take timely corrective actions, and provide commercially focused, data-backed advice to stakeholders;
- Shape pricing and scheduling: You define pricing frameworks for Travel, OSS, and Freight and work closely with Fleet and Port Operations to continuously refine sailing schedules;

- Plan with a future focus: You maintain rolling forecasts and develop integrated business plans and multi‑year financial outlooks based on market insights and scenario analysis.
Who Are You?
At Stena Line, who you are matters just as much as what you do. We value initiative, engagement, and accountability in every role. A consistent focus on high performance and service quality is essential—along with genuine motivation to contribute to the wider business.
We are looking for a self‑driven professional with a structured and accurate working style, who remains adaptable in a dynamic environment. You collaborate effectively across functions, take ownership, and act proactively. In addition, you bring:
- Education: A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Logistics;
- Experience: 5–7 years of experience in revenue management, business controlling, or a closely related field, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role with financial accountability;
- Leadership capability: Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and operate effectively in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment;
- Strategic and commercial mindset: Proven experience translating data, forecasts, and market insights into actionable growth and profitability initiatives;
- Industry insight: Experience in travel, transport, maritime, logistics, or hospitality is a strong advantage;
- Advanced analytical skills: Strong expertise in data analysis, BI platforms, forecasting models, and revenue management systems, with confidence in using digital tools to support decision‑making;
- Communication: Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal (Latvian is preffered but not required given the regional context);
- Adaptability: Comfortable working under pressure, managing complexity, and responding effectively to changing market conditions.
What Do We Offer?
We offer a stable role within a well‑established international organisation, with a permanent position based in Riga, Latvia. This role combines the continuity of a fixed base location with the opportunity to stay close to operations through regular travel to regional ports and on board our vessels, as well as business trips outside the region. You will work in an international, professional environment where collaboration, long‑term development, and practical business impact go hand in hand, giving you both stability and variety in your day‑to‑day work
