As a Deck Trainee Apprentice, you’ll dive into our comprehensive Skills Development Program under an Apprenticeship Agreement. This unique opportunity allows you to:

Our program combines on-the-job training with classroom learning, ensuring you get the best of both worlds. Practice and perfect your skills in a real work environment while receiving excellent maritime training and education.
The apprenticeship will begin on 12th January 2026
Must-haves:
- 18 years old at the time of application
- Must have the right to work in the UK and be resident in the UK
- Ability to express ideas clearly and effectively in both spoken and written forms.
Course Content:
As an apprentice, you will engage in a comprehensive training program where you will learn about the maritime industry, deck operations and ship security and safety. In addition, apprentices will take part in literacy and numeracy courses along with other classroom-based learning.
Before you start training on board our ferry, apprentices will be required to pass Basic STCW training and receive an unrestricted ENG1 medical.
