Join Our Port Operations Team in Birkenhead
Do you care deeply about customer support and enjoy creating positive experiences for others? Our Port Operations Team in Birkenhead is made up of dedicated, customer‑focused individuals who play a vital role in ensuring every part of the travel experience is smooth, friendly, and efficient. We are now looking for someone with the same passion and commitment to join our team and support the safe, effective movement of passengers and vehicles to and from our vessels.
Your main responsibility will be to help deliver a seamless port experience by providing excellent customer service and ensuring all procedures are carried out accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Delivering excellent customer service to facilitate our passenger and freight check‑in function at Port.
- Accurate and timely communications both internally and externally. Liaise effectively with other departments and ports.
- Accurate and efficient check‑in procedures, fully utilising in‑house Freight & Travel reservation systems.
- Record and account securely for all cash received in accordance with the Company Cash Handling Policy.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English & Maths
- Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience, ideally within the travel/transport industry
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn new systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Driving Licence
