We are pleased to offer an opportunity for someone to join our Port Operations Team in Fishguard as a Customer Service Assistant on a permanent, part‑time basis, working 28 hours per week.
The team is made up of customer‑focused individuals who work across all aspects of port operations and customer service, playing a key role in delivering a safe, smooth and welcoming experience for our passengers and freight customers.
In this role, you will support the effective transportation of passengers and vehicles to and from our vessels, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the high standards of service we expect at Stena Line.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service within port operations, including passenger and freight check‑in
- Carry out accurate and efficient check‑in procedures using Stena Line’s in‑house Freight and Travel reservation systems
- Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, other departments and ports to ensure smooth operations
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers and internal stakeholders
- Record, handle and account securely for all cash received in line with the Company Cash Handling Policy

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in customer service (ideally within a port operations environment)
- Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment
