Some of your key responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of the product roadmap, including configuration, implementation, release activities, troubleshooting, data quality checks, functional, integration and acceptance testing, and user training.
• Collaborate with system suppliers to prioritise development needs, manage enhancement requests, and oversee the resolution of bugs and ongoing system improvements.
• Contribute to the People Digital Transformation Ambition Roadmap.
• Manage escalations and mitigate risks to ensure smooth and successful product delivery.
• Manage and negotiate stakeholder expectations to support the delivery of high‑quality products and solutions.
• Actively identify opportunities for efficiency improvements enabled through system functionality.
• Lead user engagement, communication and training to support successful implementation and adoption of new system features and updates.
• Take initiative in 90‑day and 12‑month planning cycles, advocating for your product focus areas and stakeholder needs.
• Work with backlog items to deliver value for our People community in alignment with the People and People IT strategies, continuously releasing minimum viable products.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, using agile tools to track progress and support delivery.
How you will make an impact
In the role of People Product Delivery Specialist, you will play a key part in driving forward our People Digital agenda. You will work collaboratively across a wide internal network, including the People and Communication community, People Digital teams, Subject Matter Experts within People, and the People Digital Transformation Steering Committee. Building strong relationships and maintaining clear communication across these groups will be essential to delivering successful outcomes.
You will also engage with a range of external stakeholders, including Stena Group IT, system suppliers, partners, and relevant authorities across the extended value chain. Your ability to coordinate effectively across both internal and external dependencies will support the smooth delivery of people‑focused initiatives and digital solutions.
Flexibility will be central to your role. You will support the wider People Digital programme across a variety of areas beyond your immediate product focus. These responsibilities may evolve over time and will be shaped in collaboration with your manager, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and make a meaningful impact across the organisation.
Qualifications
Essential:
• HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Data Science, HR, or Analytics
• Experience gained within a digitally transforming environment
• Knowledge and understanding of People processes
• Innovative, solutions‑driven mindset
• Ability to translate complex information into IT needs and system solutions
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Effective prioritisation and organisational skills
Desirable:
• Experience in Digital Change Management
• Experience with AI or Automation within a People Operations environment
• Agile methodology experience or certification
• Project Management certification
