What you will experience
As Customs Service Manager, you will be responsible for the customs service activities and Freight Check-in, Frederikshavn. Through proactive, strategical, and operational initiatives you develop the business areas according to the freight agenda and business strategy.
Together with the Freight Commercial Team, you are the key driver to develop the customer base, as well as maintaining a high focus on existing customers.
You will always be up to date with the activities within the teams; Customs Service, Freight Check-in and Customs Service Norway. In the pursuit to achieve results, you will be responsible to optimize the activities to achieve synergies among the teams.
Our new Customs Service Manager will be responsible to secure that the business is equivalent to laws and regulations, demanding proactively seeking information and latest updates from relevant authorities. You will be responsible to transform legislative changes and customer demands into best practice. Furthermore, you will act as the combining link between the business area and Stena IT, securing adequate and qualified IT systems and usage.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Management and development of our customs service activities
- Management of Freight Check-in, Frederikshavn
- Ensure steady production and customer satisfaction
- Maintain and develop our customer base
- The continuation of focus on people and employee satisfaction
- Maintain Freight Check-in structure
- Participate in optimization within Freight Check-in

Qualifications:
- Good communication skills; both verbal and written
- Vast experience in customs clearance and customs regulations
- Fluent in Danish and English (Swedish is a plus)
- Managerial experience
- Comfortable in a busy working environment
- Attentive to details
- Ability to come up with and complete new initiatives
- Experience in a strongly competitive line of business
- Passion for working inside a business that appreciates integrity, loyalty, and dedication
