We are currently looking for candidates for the position:
Fleet Support ETO/Electrician
Your main task will be to fulfil the duties similar to those of an ETO/Marine Electrician within the Fleet Support Group structure in an active and efficient manner, in order to implement the Company’s requirements to ensure safe and efficient operation of the fleet and the protection of the environment.
In this role you should be highly motivated and have a flexible approach to working hours and location as this position is primarily to assist with upcoming and ongoing Fleet projects and to ensure that there are implemented in a timely manner and to the required standard of workmanship.
As this is a Fleet group position this will entail travel to vessels within Stena Line’s Fleet Groups and various shipyards throughout Europe.

If you have:
- Experience as an ETO/Marine Electrician aboard a Merchant marine/naval vessels and/or a proven employment history with shipbuilding /repair facility sufficient to provide a good understanding of the electrical, electronic, control systems, plant and equipment of a merchant vessel,
- Recognised ETO/Marine Electrician qualification,
- Experience of electrical power supply and distribution systems- both maintenance and installation,
- Ability to undertake and complete tasks from documentation/drawings provided within given timeframes,
- A working understanding of risk assessment procedures, safe systems of work and general maintenance requirements,
- Good communication and interpersonal skills - you should be able to liaise closely with personnel both aboard the vessels and ashore,
- Maintaining system maintenance histories with reference to date, extent of repairs and alterations required,
- Experience of Ship automation systems/fire detections systems/control systems (nice to have),
- MEWP certification/experience of working aloft (heights) (nice to have),
- Good IT skills (nice to have),
